What we collect, and for how long

When you send a message through the contact form, we collect your name, your email address and what you write, and keep it for one year.

When you send a reservation request, we collect the party size, the date and time you ask for, and a phone number to reach you, and keep it for six months.

When you send a private event enquiry, we collect your name, your contact details and what you write about the event, and keep it for one year.

We do not send you a copy of what you submit.

Maps and films

The location map is served by www.openstreetmap.org and tile.openstreetmap.org, and a gallery film is served by www.youtube-nocookie.com. Each loads only once you accept it in the cookie banner; until then a static panel is shown in its place.

Analytics

If you accept analytics in the cookie banner, we count how the site is used with Google Analytics. Its script is loaded from www.googletagmanager.com, and what it measures is sent to www.google-analytics.com. Until you accept, neither is contacted.

It records the pages you view and a few actions: viewing the menu, tapping the phone number, sending a form successfully, and starting or completing a table booking. It never receives what you type into a form, your contact details, the number you tap or what you search for. Of each page address it receives only the page itself, the menu filters you chose and a campaign tag if the link you followed carried one, and of the site you came from, only its domain. Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off.

Google keeps these measurements for two months and then deletes them.

To stop it, choose Cookie settings at the foot of any page, then Essential only. Nothing more is sent from then on, and the analytics cookies are removed from your browser.

What the site stores in your browser

This site stores the record of your cookie choice in your browser. If you accept analytics, Google Analytics also stores two cookies there, _ga and one whose name begins with _ga_, to tell repeat visits apart. Each expires two years after your last visit, and both are removed as soon as you withdraw that consent.

Who else sees it

A submission reaches the restaurant by email delivery. We do not sell what you send us, and we do not share it for advertising.

Your choices

To see, correct or have us delete what we hold, use the address at the foot of this page. A reservation request carries no email address, so we find it by the phone number you gave us.
